Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in auto finance or installment loan servicing, with a focus on auction and remarketing operations.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field may substitute for required experience.
- Proven experience with customer communication and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of quickly learning proprietary servicing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Minimize net recovery losses by efficiently managing repossessed vehicle inventory and maximizing auction sale returns.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all repossession activities to reduce days to sale.
- Execute responsibilities in accordance with company competencies, compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection protocols.
- Communicate regularly with auctions, dealerships, and customers through email and outbound calls to ensure smooth progression through the remarketing process.
- Collaborate with suppliers and management to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
- Perform accurate data entry throughout the remarketing workflow, maintaining organized and secure documentation.
- Review condition reports, market data (including NADA values), and historical sales to determine pricing strategy and assess necessary repairs for increased sale value.
- Manage title processing and follow-up to enable timely vehicle liquidation.
- Handle both inbound and outbound communication related to remarketing inquiries and activities.
- Generate and distribute regulatory notices within policy timelines; ensure all supporting documentation is recorded accurately in the system of record.
- Provide courteous, professional service to all internal and external stakeholders with timely issue resolution.
- Maintain positive working relationships with dealers, auction houses, and internal teams.
- Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting related to remarketing metrics and performance.
- Oversee aged inventory concerns, such as sale delays due to title issues, transportation conflicts, legal holds, dealer escalations, repair delays and as situations present themselves.
- Monitor live auctions, respond to real-time pricing opportunities, and manage counteroffers.
- Provide onsite support at auction locations when needed.
- Process and communicate auction sale proceeds accurately.
- Manage and distribute all relevant daily and weekly team reports.
