Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration or related field required
- Master Degree in Health or Business Administration or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Management experience Healthcare or managed care settings, program design and/or implementation and/or accreditation or quality management oversight, knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid benefit designs
- Strong experience in business plan development, written and verbal presentations
- 3+ years of management experience leading and/or managing others
Responsibilities
- Work independently, or through finance/contracting/vendor manager partners to ideate new supplemental benefit designs, packages or vendors
- Analyze feasibility and requirements of the benefit choices with respect to bid filing, implementation and materials
- Oversee new product and program design, development, and implementations and regulatory requirement implementation
- Oversee process optimization activities, ensuring that tools, requirements, and documentation are followed through completion
- Monitor projects to ensure they are compliant with state or regulatory contract compliance and end to end process implementation
- Research and analyze internal and external information related to product development, including clinical literature, industry trends, competitor activities, and specific health service delivery systems
- Support market needs and business requirements to ensure on-time and on-budget launch of new products and programs
- Monitor key market trends and competitor activities to identify new product and program features and collaborate with Corporate Product Development team for deployment
- Monitor and analyze product and program performance and provide recommendations for modifications and enhancements
- Represent product and programs, on behalf of the health plan, in external stakeholder meetings
- Key participant in developing contracting and SOWs for supplemental benefit vendors
- Drive supplemental benefit initiatives to ensure they are accurately represented in contracts
- Develop and manage supplemental vendor RFIs and RFP process
- Track and ensure supplemental benefits for dual integrated products are designed, executed and implemented
Preferred Qualifications
