Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 2+ years of Engineering work experience in Mechanical Design, Test, or Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the conceptualization and design of automatically controlled mechanical/hydraulic test rigs.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
- Contribute to the preparation of successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical write ups and reports.
- Work as part of a design/development team, which includes other Test Equipment engineers.
- Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical reputation.
- Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program. Contribute to the evolution of the conceptual design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the development of mechanical assemblies or control systems
- Experience with development programs working as a part of a project team
- Experience with the design and development of electro-hydraulic, electromechanical, or electro-pneumatic servo-mechanisms
- Experience in the areas of Requirements Definition, Integration, V&V, modeling & simulation with project management
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
- Master’s Degree in Engineering
