Requirements

- 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a related field within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry.
- Proven track record of conducting market assessments and delivering strategic insights.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead competitive intelligence efforts across multiple therapeutic areas globally, ensuring functional leaders are equipped with essential competitive information for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct thorough competitive and market assessments to identify market dynamics, trends, and potential impacts on Moderna’s pipeline, delivering insights to executive leaders and stakeholders.
- Evaluate the reliability of competitive intelligence research findings, upholding stringent standards for accuracy, relevance, and quality in all deliverables, and effectively communicate the level of evidence to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs and R&D to integrate internal and external information, analytics, and data to derive value-added.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure continuous and comprehensive market intelligence coverage.
- Regularly present detailed analyses and summaries of results, interpret data, and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Moderna’s diverse product offerings, competitive positioning, and the broader market dynamics shaping the industry’s future.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, or PhD) in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence with a focus on multiple therapeutic areas.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and influence decision-making at the executive level.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
