Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • +10 years meaningful procurement experience
  • CPSM/CPM/CTPE Certification is helpful
  • Solid understanding of sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, Other)
  • Ability to use standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Director of Market Access Procurement and the VP of Commercial Procurement to develop and support the procurement activities needed to support Regeneron’s Market Access Team
  • Acts as a primary point of contact – both global and domestic for stakeholders, key suppliers and business partners
  • Develops plans to drive value in terms of savings, cash flow improvement, speed, and other efficiency savings from category management activities
  • Continually improving efficient global procurement processes, leveraging the appropriate parts of Global Procurement as needed
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), negotiations and planning discussions with suppliers
  • Learning about REGN’s portfolio of products and the goods and services required to support the future portfolio
  • Assesses market research, competitive benchmarking, supplier and stakeholder input with an eye towards designing the optimal way to support REGN objectives
  • Designing and leading sourcing activities leveraging a Team Specialist and the Global Capabilities Centre

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories
  • Adept at influencing stakeholders and suppliers
  • Demonstrated success working effectively with cross-functional teams to get results
  • Prior experience in procurement, particularly market access procurement
  • Ability to provide insight and knowledge regarding negotiations, sourcing project design, stakeholder management and SRM
  • Experienced operating with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to motivate change and improvement
  • Demonstrated success supporting global supply market evaluation processes using all available market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
