Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Relevant specialized training and Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Flexibility to support various work timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard access control to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) by providing security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers in USCENTCOM J2 Top Secret (TS)/SCI offices and facilities.
- Support shift work from: 0600-1400 (1st Shift) and 1400-2200 (2nd Shift) and averages 6 – 10 people per shift.
- Serve as an escort for uncleared workers as required during specified hours.
- Identify and report on any facility system malfunctions or issues.
- Complete a Facility Inspection Checklist and submit a Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) inspection report email to leadership upon completion of every shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Special Security Technician escort experience at USCENTCOM or another SCIF.
