Requirements
- Associate’s degree with 10 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide range of people ranging from very technical to non-technical, individual contributors, and executive management.
- Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement experience.
- Proven IT project management experience and demonstrated leadership skills, including planning, scheduling, team member career development, and workload forecasting.
- The selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
- Experience with digital twin technology for real-time monitoring and optimization.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for threat detection and response.
- Understanding of IoT integration for data collection and automation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical quality, performance, budget, and schedule for IT/Cybersecurity aspects related to plant operations.
- Ensure operations adhere to sound technical processes in IT/Cybersecurity, in line with company policies, procedures, and quality standards; additionally, lead non-recurring and recurring support activities across all plant operations organizations.
- Drive the implementation and adoption of machine connectivity to enable factory of the future capabilities.
- Effectively manage IT and cybersecurity, supporting the digital enablement of CNC, milling machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering (or similar STEM related discipline).
- Cybersecurity expertise, to include an understanding of threats specific to manufacturing, such as IoT vulnerabilities and ransom ware attacks, and knowledge of security protocols for OT and IoT systems.
- Knowledge of network segmentation and compliance with standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
- Familiarity with CNC and milling machine operations and their integration with digital systems.
- Experience with Agile based practices and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, processes, and tools.
- The ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.
- Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills, with an ability to drive cross functional teams to action when working in a matrix organization.
- Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly, and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, and an ability to effectively challenge the status quo while providing innovative solutions to complex IT requirements.
