Requirements
- Experience restraining and working with animals for medical procedures
- At least one year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician
- Strong computer skills
- Fast and accurate typing
Responsibilities
- Assist the veterinarian at all appointments
- Hold animals for procedures (including exams, blood draws, urine collection, etc.)
- Prepare vaccines
- Review records
- Enter notes and charges in the computer
- Interact with clients
- Assist clients and team members by phone and email in the business office
