Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in Engineering, Technical Sales, Operations or equivalent client-facing role within the Aerospace, Aviation, Academia, Military or Manufacturing industry; OR Advanced degree and 6 months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all customer communication for assigned customer accounts.
  • Liaison between customer and PSD, providing timely and accurate information regarding customer orders.
  • Utilize appropriate communication channels to effectively communicate status changes (e-mail, phone, status reports or calls, etc.).
  • Work effectively with other departments to resolve customer requests.
  • Monitor customer request status and follow up with the customer once complete.
  • Maintain knowledge of RTX organization, PSD products, and Global Trade Compliance to provide the appropriate information and support to customers.
  • Recommend process improvements utilizing continuous improvement tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in STEM field; Engineering fields of study.
  • Client-facing experience ideally within a technical production / manufacturing environment.
  • Global Trade Compliance knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and engineering drawings.
  • Experience in Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry or similar Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) environment supporting aircraft engines or related aerospace products.
  • LEAN, Continuous Improvement, Six-Sigma training and experience.
  • Experience working with Solumina MES, SAP ERP, and MS Office Suite.
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
