Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning OR Master’s or PhD Degree in a related field
- Demonstrate proficiency with programming skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar
- IT background
- Experience with complex data retrieval, interface with statistics, compliance, informatics and clinical research
Responsibilities
- Perform basic data analysis to include data validation, investigation, and testing of hypotheses.
- Assist Principal Investigator with transforming data to support the investigation of research questions.
- Build basic predictive models, and other mathematical or statistical models as needed by using modeling tools.
- Utilize process enhancement opportunities to improve the efficiency of data pulling, reporting, programming, operation etc.
- Work to curate and process complex clinical and biological data.
- May communicate or present research findings.
- Identify technical issues and manage resolution for analytics programs.
- Utilize basic statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling to build algorithms and perform data analytics.
- Utilize programming skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar.
