Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years related experience, Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality and/or Mission Assurance.
- Experience presenting in front of Senior leadership and customers.
Responsibilities
- Engage in Program activities to identify and quantify supplier quality risk in program sourcing plans, influence sourcing strategy to include capable suppliers and to identify risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact of poor supplier quality.
- Collaborate with GSC to ensure appropriate quality requirements for programs are identified and flowed down to suppliers via purchasing documents.
- Coordinate with IPT Engineer teams to ensure program risk mitigation strategies are executed in conjunction with key program schedule milestones.
- Collaborate with GSC, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program Management organizations to identify and understand supplier quality issues identified during supplier onboarding, in receiving inspection and in QMS reviews and audits, and work with all stakeholders to drive suppliers to sustained Root Cause & Corrective Action.
- Work with program personnel to ensure adequate funding is identified for Supplier Quality risk mitigation and product validation activities; monitor Supplier Quality team activities to ensure consistency with spend plan.
- Collaborate with GSC teams to ensure critical suppliers are identified and the appropriate quarterly quality performance feedback (Supplier Assessments (SAMS) or SAP Scorecards) is accurate and effectively communicated to the supplier and use data-driven processes to measure supplier quality performance, mitigation of risk and to lead continuous improvement processes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government DoD security clearance
- Experience working in the aerospace/defense industry
- Experience with Tableau and/or building metrics
- Experience with data acquisition
- General experience with special processes such as heat treat, brazing, welding, plating, etc.
- Experience with leading process improvement projects
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Six Sigma or Lean certifications
- Lead auditor experience to ISO 9001
