Requirements

  • Current Active Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access or an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval within a reasonable period of time
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
  • Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements
  • Current Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph. Must agree in writing by way of a Polygraph Consent Form, to take and successfully pass a CI Polygraph examination.

Responsibilities

  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations, establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and grants personnel and visitors access to restricted documents and materials
  • Develop and implement security education program
  • Oversee internal security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Provide direction to security team members to assist with executing their statement of work
  • Assist with team members’ professional development and growth
  • Lead a team of security professionals to consistently apply the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization
  • Ensure employee engagement across the team
  • Collaborate across teams within the organization
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
  • Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program
  • Ensure all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met
  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions- to include Program Industrial Security, Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, Information or Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts
