Requirements

  • 1-3 years previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, or relationship/partner management (within a call center environment) or client services (SMB)
  • Salesforce experience – specifically with SF case management
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English, and Spanish is a plus
  • Strong desire to achieve top results with a personable, positive “can-do” demeanor with a consistent record of success in a sales environment
  • Focused, reliable self-starter with ability to prioritize effectively
  • Organized and able to keep a cool head even in stressful situations
  • Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet and computer
  • Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • A love for small business and merchant success

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advisor and SumUp brand ambassador to our merchants
  • Mentor, empower and educate merchants on our suite of products and the value they bring to the merchant’s business
  • Understand the technology behind the products and competing products in the marketplace
  • Consistently meet and exceed success metrics, including revenue and retention
  • Connect with customers through phone, email, and chat to ensure satisfaction and utilization of SumUp products
  • Research and resolve inquiries and issues from merchants
  • Identify opportunities for merchants to consume additional products and services
  • Upsell merchants with additional products to fuel growth and manage the sales cycle within Salesforce
  • Contribute to scalability by optimizing processes and creating new content for support and Account Management
  • Expand knowledge about the payments industry and collaborate with other departments
  • Report on themed merchant issues or opportunities with products
  • Recommend areas to improve efficiency to leadership and assist global teams with upsell activities
