Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Trade in Mechanical Engineering/CNC or related field and one to two years of applicable experience is desired.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong knowledge operation of common hand tools and motorized tools.
- Strong Teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experienced HAAS and MasterCam use and operations.
Responsibilities
- Fixture Design, Part Design, Documentation to include SOP’s and training.
- Accurately document setup and production information and any deviations or adjustments made during processes.
- Maintain detailed records for traceability and future reference.
- Identify and resolve machine issues, including tool wear, programming or mechanical.
- Installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
- Machining parts to specifications, verifying and establishing proper QA for inventory supply.
- Consult with customers, vendors and field technicians to solve issues and/or make arrangements of resources required for a project.
- Assist Engineering/Manufacturing with additional day to day activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- HAAS 5-axis programming and operation
- MasterCam CNC design and program software (or suitable software for creating necessary CNC files for HAAS)
- VCarve software program knowledge
- Excelled documentary processes
- Attention to Detail
