Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with defense policy, analysis, or incident management
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings for professional audiences
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team of defense and intelligence analysts, scientists, and uniformed military members
  • Ability to communicate and analyze complex ideas and solutions to client and internal audiences via presentations and written materials
  • Ability to lead components of larger tasks
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Assess the DoD’s current cyber policies, the coverage of those policies, and areas of risks
  • Evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards
  • Guide clients through understanding acceptable risk and availability
  • Work on the development of a strategic cyber roadmap
  • Help clients operate securely as they navigate an evolving threat environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience planning and executing workshops, seminars, or wargames
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues, both internally and across partner organizations, to successfully achieve desired outcomes and meet the client’s expectations and project team requirements
  • Ability to contribute to business development and new business opportunities by preparing Statements of Work, responding to Requests for Proposals, or participating in proposal verbal presentations
  • Master’s degree
