Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of financial industry experience
  • Strong understanding of ETFs and Mutual Funds
  • BA/BS in any field, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or Industrial Engineering
  • Role will require candidate to obtain regulatory licenses Series 7 and 63
  • Candidate should have a goal to pursue CFA or CAIA designation, if not currently holding, within 12-24 months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Manage key client relationships and drive engagement with CIOs, Portfolio Managers and traders
  • Work alongside Senior Relationship Managers on all ongoing business development, client service and communication with clients and prospects
  • Develop asset class fluency across BlackRock’s product range
  • Lead strategic client targeting and design well-planned and engaging client meetings
  • Drive new revenue and opportunities across products and client types
  • Prospect and initiate brand building and sales activity with investors not currently engaged in discussions with iShares or BLK product
  • Use BlackRock’s proprietary systems to gather security, capital market and economic data
  • Gather critical data to quickly respond orally and in writing to client information requests
  • Write and publish client meeting summary notes posted to firm wide client relationship management systems
  • Assist and lead client onboarding events with operations teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience in institutional relationship management and fundraising preferred
  • Prior knowledge of US Asset Manager Industry and investment knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge or proficiency in public markets assets and across a wide range of investment vehicles a plus
  • Prior experience in investing, portfolio management, research role a plus
  • Bloomberg, Excel, and technical proficiency with Python or other programming ability a plus, not required
