Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and customer reporting
  • Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines
  • Experience with Deltek Cobra Reporting Tool
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Lead for Earned Value Management (EVM) and Cost Management System (Cobra); Interface with Cost Account Managers and provides monthly cost/schedule data for the program
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Support financial management on the program, including forecasting, planning, estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, and program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS)
  • Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual Estimates at Complete (EACs)
  • Effectively communicating with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Defense industry experience
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
  • Program Cost Control experience
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
  • Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP
