Requirements

• B.S./B.A. degree in engineering or another technical field
• 10+ years of experience in leading design, development, integration, or testing of cryogenic fluid and propulsion systems.
• Experience across the design lifecycle of engineering products in propulsion systems
• Experience managing complex projects with a track record of demonstrable success
• Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve specific business objectives or goals outside of your organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of development and qualification test efforts for a broad range of advanced fluid and propulsion systems including cryogenic propellant management devices, integrated propulsion systems, and fluid components; lead cross-functional teams, manage and report progress
• Identify development risks and plan mitigations
• Coordinate with assembly, integration, and test organizations to ensure successful hardware development, acceptance, and qualification
• Develop recovery strategies when off nominal conditions or non-conformances are encountered
• Report status and escalate needs to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices
• Experience with human spaceflight
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera (P6), DOORS, CREO, Windchill
• Experience with risk management, configuration management, requirements management.
• Experience working in vehicle integration and test.
