Responsibilities
- Oversee both the configuration management and change control processes across IT systems
- Maintain and manage the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Oversee CI relationships and dependencies to ensure proper service mapping
- Coordinate integrations with discovery tools (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM) and validate data quality
- Develop and enforce CMDB governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders (e.g., CDRLS)
- Own and operate the IT Change Management process based on ITIL best practices
- Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and review all change requests for risk, impact, and scheduling
- Ensure changes are documented, approved, communicated, and implemented in a controlled manner
- Monitor and report on change success rates, failures, and trends to improve process maturity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize change-related disruptions
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4 Foundation (or higher) certification
- Experience with service mapping and automated discovery tools
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments
- Background in infrastructure, networking, or systems architecture
