Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work is required
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire is required
- Two years’ clinical experience in related field is required
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
- Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications relevant to the position
- The ability to develop MSW staff toward licensure requirements is also a requirement
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the community resources program available to behavioral health patients and community members
- Assist patients referred from Behavioral Health, the Emergency Department, and other units along with the community on how to access available mental health resources in their area
- Assist the Manager in hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating team members
- Monitor the quality and data collection to identify improvement opportunities and solutions
- Provide comprehensive intake examinations and behavioral health assessments and determine accurate DSM-5/ICD-10 diagnoses based on clinical information
- Provide behavioral health services to individuals, couples, families and groups, using a variety of treatment approaches and tools
- Make appropriate referrals for patients needing services outside the scope of the immediacy of primary care
- Maintain complete and timely clinical records on all clients
- Provide consultation to other staff members as requested and participate in staffing of cases
- Provide consultation and education services to individuals, agencies, institutions and groups as assigned
- Participate in the screening process of new referrals to the department as needed

- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Current LCSW in the State of Montana; for the MSW candidate the ability to obtain SWLC within 3 months of hire
