Requirements
- ND Medical Imaging License | North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board | Within 12 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Cardiovascular Technologist – Registered | Cardiovascular Credentialing International | Within 24 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) | American Heart Association | Within 90 Days of Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Must meet requirements that align with conditional license of North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board
- Must adhere to state licensing guidelines and be eligible to qualify for the RCIS/RCES exam within 24 months of the start date.
Responsibilities
- Correlates the analysis of invasive and noninvasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and reports pertinent findings to Physician.
- Performs hemodynamic and control room duties maintaining a working knowledge of equipment.
- Prepares and performs the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures, i.e., proper supplies, equipment set-up, etc.
- Practices radiation safety in order to protect both staff members and the patient.
- Performs and monitors patient’s stress tests.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates – Cardiac Technician- OR -Associates – Radiologic Technology
