Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS+16 years of experience.
- Requires knowledge of Windows and Unix systems administration
- Familiar with JFHQ-DODIN Joint Doctrine in order to perform system administration to maintain and upgrade capabilities requirement
- Able to develop, deploy, configure, and sustain software packages to Windows, Linux client and other operating systems client systems via Endpoint Security solutions.
- Able to build, deploy, configure, and maintain virtual machines that run Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
- Able to build, configure, sanitize, and maintain equipment to include includes laptops, servers, routers, switches, flyaway kits, and other items
- Familiarity with applying security best practices to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, ensuring the underlying infrastructure is robust and secure.
- Able to implement security measures for containerized applications, including secure image repositories, container runtime security, and vulnerability scanning
- Current DOD 8140/8570 IAT II certification
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- U.S Citizenship Required
Responsibilities
- Manage, oversee, and maintain a multi-user computing environment that supports the assessment information environment
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of an information system, providing effective information system utilization, adequate security parameters, and sound implementation of established IA policy and procedures
- Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and develop analytics for meaningful insights
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise
- Help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed
