Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required
- Five years relevant professional experience
- Experience working with healthcare professionals and clinical laboratories
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong presentation skills

Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategies to increase market share and achieve financial targets in his/her area of responsibility.
- Assesses trends in customer needs and preferences and modifies selling approach accordingly.
- Maintains awareness of competitive environment and competitor’s activities such as new product introductions, pricing actions, promotional programs, etc.
- Explores new business opportunities by monitoring existing markets and developing new markets.
- Responds to non-routine customer requests for information or assistance; makes effective presentations to customers on behalf of BD.
- Facilitates interactions between the customer and other members of the organization as required to ensure the timely resolution of issues and identification of new opportunities.
- Works independently to plan daily work schedule, set priorities among assignments, and organize time to meet deadlines.
- Monitors progress toward achieving goals established for an account(s); prepares periodic reports on status of key performance indicators.
- Maintains high level of knowledge of industry and products.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of his/her actions on others and on the organization.
