Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or graduate of a military training program
- Unlicensed Assistive Person – Technician (UAP/T) | North Dakota Board of Nursing | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Licensed Practical Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Responsibilities
- Organizes and prepares case set-up prior to start of case
- Cleans, assembles, operates, and properly cares for instruments, supplies, and equipment used in team specialties
- Provides patient care, according to diagnosis/procedure, utilizing the procedure cards and following established hospital policies and procedures
- Documents procedure changes on procedure cards following each case according to standard operating procedures
- Identifies and communicates unusual techniques and instruments required for surgery
- Participates in measuring and monitoring Quality Indicators and outcomes
- Performs pain assessment and takes appropriate action according to standard operating procedure
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
