Requirements
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- One year of radiologic experience
- Must be licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
- Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Must be familiar with age specific criteria
Responsibilities
- Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician.
