Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science / Engineering or similar field
- Experience with IMU data acquisition and processing
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with sensors, robotics, linux operating systems
Responsibilities
- Design studies to collect training datasets for new tasks
- Use annotation for IMU data for event classification (Human Activity Recognition)
- Build models for HAR
- Propose new sensors and research methods for HAR
- Interface with consumer researchers and product development technologists to envision new sensing capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Android/iOS development
- Data/systems architecture design
- Cloud IoT experience
