Requirements
- AWS Associate-level certification required (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified Developer – Associate)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or related fields, with a focus on AWS technologies
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation
- Strong understanding of AWS security, networking, and best practices
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Experience implementing cost-effective, FinOps-aligned cloud solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality results under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to technical teams
- Strong technical documentation skills for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tools for provisioning, monitoring, auditing, and de-provisioning cloud infrastructure using automation tools
- Work closely with solution architects and engineers to implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions
- Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools like Jenkins and GitLab Runners
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Support the configuration and automation of cloud environments using tools like Ansible
- Troubleshoot and provide support for cloud-based applications in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency
- Identify and implement cloud cost optimization strategies, incorporating FinOps principles where applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Professional or Specialty certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices is a plus
