Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience; 3+ years of experience in brand partnerships, co-marketing, sponsorship, corporate strategy/acquisitions, and/or brand management
  • Ability to build and utilize financial and forecasting models
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand basic financial statements
  • Ability and propensity to turn vision into action while following through on numerous parallel workstreams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and determining how to proactively find resolutions
  • Ability to develop advanced PowerPoint/Keynote presentations with an emphasis on telling our story in a concise, compelling way
  • Experience with negotiating contracts
  • Possess facilitation and influencing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively within a large, matrixed organization across domestic and international business units
  • Creatively identify and research high-value, strategic partnership opportunities
  • Manage complex projects to drive toward desired outcomes while leading specific workstreams
  • Build consensus and leverage strong relationships, influence and persuasion to complete complex tasks
  • Develop partnerships that require extensive diligence and storytelling skills
  • Review, improve, and develop processes necessary to do the work efficiently and effectively
  • Work well in a team, driven with a bias for action, and maintain a collaborative ‘team first’ approach
  • Present and share relevant and concise business information to stakeholders
  • Seek and appreciate different perspectives and approaches
  • Understand each partner’s business and needs via consultation, communication, and research
  • Appreciate and understand the Disney brand and company objectives and values
  • Create custom, multi-dimensional presentations and communicate the ideas to clients in a way that generates excitement and optimism
  • Display a high degree of social intelligence to understand individuals’ needs, manage and prevent conflict, and influence outcomes
  • Act as a liaison between the Disney business segments and legal team to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of Alliance contractual language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development/consulting experience
  • Experience in fact-based negotiations or equivalent contract analysis
  • Experience working with legal resources and stakeholders throughout a negotiation process
  • 1+ year of international experience
