Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience
- Must possess valid State Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be able to acquire NACE CIP Level 1 Certification
- Must possess NACE Cathodic Protection (CP) Level I Certification
- Must acquire Operator Qualification (OQ)
- Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the upmost priority
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks involved in troubleshooting, testing, calibrating, maintaining, installing and/or repairing malfunctions of the equipment in areas of expertise
- Supports external/internal corrosion control programs, ensures adequate monitoring and mitigations, and follows DOT requirements
- Processes corrosion data, generates, analyzes and communicates monthly reports; works with business partners to resolve issues
- Provides guidance and project scoping for corrosion control issues
- Performs the data integration and analysis process relating to corrosion control testing
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred: Associates Degree in vocational, technical or business field
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations and understanding of basic D/C electrical circuits
- Preferred: Basic knowledge of corrosion control mitigation methodology and corrosion mechanisms
