Requirements
- Four (4) years of information systems experience in technical support
- An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in technical support
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Ensure the automation systems used by the Department of Corrections (DOC) staff and multi-jurisdictional partners are operational, secure, and connect to the DOC and AIC networks
- Provide on-site support primarily located in-person at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution
- Respond to service requests and resolve complex incidents
- Collaborate closely with end-users and technical teams to ensure seamless functionality of systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service
- Experience working with ITSM Tools, Microsoft Configuration Manager as well as other Enterprise level software and tools
- Prioritizing and managing multiple incidents and service requests under tight and sometimes competing deadlines
- Proven experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various software/hardware with complex configurations including legacy software
- Proficient documentation and organization skills
- Strong participation in a team environment
- Experience working in or with government, law enforcement, or corrections agencies
