Requirements

  • 3+ years of retail store management or merchandise display experience
  • 3+ years’ experience analyzing sales, market trend, demographic and competitor assessment data and formulating and communicating successful action plans.
  • 3+ years’ experience using design methodologies, including user research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc.
  • 3+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials
  • 3+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data
  • 3+ years’ experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Category Management Group to develop a category strategy to achieve the category goals. Ensure the category merchandise strategy plan and execution of that plan across all main and alternate versions of planograms.
  • Perform analysis using Tableau, Category MAP and Extra Care data to identify best merchandising solutions, clustering, product positioning and space allocation.
  • Determine correct product facing strategy to ensure planogram holding capacity to customer satisfaction and sales are optimized.
  • Analyze competitor’s product display techniques and department layouts to benchmark best practices and bring new innovation display concepts and ideas to our company.
  • Review and analyze marketing data to integrate supplier ideas to develop best in class planograms.
  • Creatively merchandise product and identify sales opportunities in order to maximize sales.
  • Educate store personnel through communication with regard to planogram implementation and product presentation strategies.
  • Assist in the training and development of new support staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred user of Space Management software applications.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work, lead and influence within a cross functional team environment.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and set priorities on several projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines.
  • Advance user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to set goals, measure and report on results and adjust plans based on changing internal and external influences.
  • Ability to positively adapt in a changing environment.
