Requirements

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of product analytical experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization.
  • Proven experience with Dash for interactive dashboard creation
  • Experience designing and analyzing rigorous A/B tests and experiments
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis, including regression, clustering, predictive modeling, Bayesian methods, and inferential statistics
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, and translate analytics into strategic insights

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify customer trends, player behaviors, and market opportunities within sports betting and online gaming products
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify player trends, behavioral patterns, and product opportunities
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across product development, marketing, and customer retention
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform product development and customer engagement strategies
  • Utilize statistical techniques, including but not limited to: Hypothesis Testing, Regression Analysis (Linear, Logistic, Multivariate), Bayesian inference and probabilistic modeling
  • Leverage statistical modeling and forecasting methodologies to support product strategies, experimentation, and decision-making
  • Design, implement, and analyze rigorous experimentation frameworks including A/B tests, multi-armed bandit tests, uplift modeling, and quasi-experimental methods (e.g., Difference-in-Differences) to measure causal impacts of product changes
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Python Dash, clearly presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Craft compelling data-driven stories and develop engaging presentation decks to clearly articulate insights, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Write efficient and maintainable code using Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Statsmodels)
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with large-scale datasets (experience with Snowflake a plus)
  • Familiarity with product analytics, including understanding customer behavior patterns, user journeys, product lifecycle, and engagement metrics
  • Ability to identify product opportunities and areas for improvement based on data-driven insights
  • Experience working closely with product management teams to drive feature prioritization and product strategy
