Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- One (1) Year Experience with CNC lathes and/or CNC turning centers or CNC Technical Diploma
Responsibilities
- Using Computer Aided Design Software to implement solutions for obtaining desired grinding results
- Use Coordinate Measuring Machine and other measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify work and adjust
- Identify and properly manage hazardous waste
- Participating in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position
- Follow all plant safety rules and regulations
- Analyze the performance of equipment and tooling to recommend changes and improvements to equipment and procedures
- Communicating with other departments regarding quality, safety, and equipment issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- This position may require overtime, weekend, and holiday work
- Excellent mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as, understanding and proficiency with geometry, trigonometry, and machining calculations
- Complex reading of drawings and notes.
