Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years’ relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required.
- Capability to synthesize data from multiple resources to build actionable recommendations.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving, works well under pressure.
- Ability to negotiate, required.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to communicate and present information clearly and effectively with peers and executive leadership, via written and/or verbal communication.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Requires travel, up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Data collection for Request for Quotation(RFQ)/Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Direct and influence multi functional departments to mutually agree on cost savings projects which result in tactical implementation of Sourcing awards/cost savings.
- Recommendations on vendor managed inventory levels.
- Assessment of aging materials and obsolete material review and disposition.
- Evaluate and approve vendors/materials to support new product innovation.
- Responsible for key performance indicators.
- Responsible for value and supply chain improvements, including presentation of all revenue enhancement ideas.
- New item set up and system management.
- Pricing & contract management in coordination with Strategic Sourcing contracts.
- Implementation and enforcement of Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certified or APICS certification, preferred.
