Requirements

  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with dealers and peers.
  • Knowledge of the importance of ‘big picture’ thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain rebuild efficiency and quality standards through CRC Certification materials & program.
  • Perform CRC assessments with DSD field support team at dealer component rebuild facilities.
  • Integrate Continuous Improvement and Best Practice ideas as part of your business activities.
  • Collaborate extensively with DSD’s.
  • Support dealer component rebuild projects by identifying Best dealer practices and working with engineering & support teams on specific projects, supporting the reuse of Caterpillar product.
  • Working with dealers on capital plans and skill requirements for workshops.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of a dealership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year engineering or technical degree or equivalent job-related experience
  • 3+ years of professional level experience.
  • Previous dealer facing product support field experience.
  • Engine, Drivetrain and Hydraulic component rebuild experience
  • Dealer Component Rebuild Center experience.
