Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Marketing
- 5+ years of Sales experience, preferably in the outdoor industry
- Extensive computer experience with exposure to computer CRT
- The ability to work occasional overtime and attend some evening and weekend meetings
- The ability to travel (10-20%), including overnight travel
Responsibilities
- Manage all sales aspects for the Value and Corporate Channel accounts by developing and implementing sales strategies that promote the sell in and sell through of Columbia products.
- Process and monitor orders from entry through shipping of product.
- Negotiate close-out prices skillfully with key accounts to maximize sales and achieve acceptable internal profitability.
- Work closely with Columbia departments to coordinate product presentations and provide information on technical aspects of product, including design and materials.
- Oversee requests for special product makes by working closely with the Canada Merchandise team and the National Sales Director.
- Work closely with the National Sales Director and Finance team to ensure financial goals are met.
- Meet regularly with the Columbia sales management team to review sales data and account management.
