Sr Electrical Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
ITAR, EAR, FTR
Experience analyzing and interpreting federal rules and regulations
Significant experience with EWIS design for large transport category aircraft (14 CFR, Part 25, Subpart H)
Familiar with use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. 3DExperience, Enovia SmarTeam, Teamcenter)
Experience with logical and harness design CAD tools (e.g. Catia, ECAD, Capital Logic, HarnessXC, Zuken)
Familiar with Model Based Design (MBD) principals
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Creation system wiring diagrams and harness assembly drawings
EWIS component selection
Authoring test plans and procedures
Support Flight Test Instrumentation team with wiring design guidance
Liaison support for Flight Test, manufacturing, and operations (trouble shooting and non-conformity dispositions)
Assist in the development new processes and process improvement initiatives
Provide guidance and mentor to more junior engineers on the team
Ability to effectively communicate EWIS system requirements to other engineering disciplines
Working knowledge of environmental electromagnetic effects and electromagnetic compatibility principles, as well as methods of protection and mitigation of those effects on EWIS
Familiar with system safety principles and hazard mitigation methods
