Electro Optics Growth Program Manager

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
Experience in Systems Engineering and Program / Project Management
Experience with EO/IR sensor technology
Experience interfacing with DoD and/or Science Technology customers
Experience managing and reporting EVMS, cost schedule, Risk, Financial Forecasts and / or EAC’s
Active and transferrable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures such as Agile Development, CORE, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC
Transitioning programs to other strategic business units within Raytheon
Working with all functional organizations to ensure program is properly staffed and ensuring that the functions are engaged on programs
Organizing and tracking performance of engineering subject matter experts
Gaining customer pull generating new programs
Turning engineering ideas into conceptual programs

Raytheon Program Management Level 5 Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
Experience managing special access programs
Customer Interface experience such as presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools and procedures
Experience with Agile program start-up and execution
Experience managing strategic programs to facilitate growth
Understanding of Electronic Warfare technology
Understanding of Raytheon’s EO/IR products
Hands-on experience working with customer to derive requirements
Understanding of EO/IR systems architecture or software architecture
