Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Millwright
  • Knowledge of boilers preferable
  • Extensive MaintainX experience (using, setting up, reporting, configuration)
  • Red Seal License a strong asset
  • Proficiency troubleshooting and repairing automated, hydraulic, pneumatic, low-voltage electrically/electronically controlled machinery
  • Ability to read drawings/blueprints and schematics
  • Strong fitting and fabrication ability
  • Knowledge of materials and industrial supplies
  • Previous experience and command in all position GTAW, SMAW, GMAW welding (ferrous and non-ferrous alloys/stainless steels)
  • Knowledge/experience with PLCs preferable
  • Confidence and ability to troubleshoot issues and direct resolution remotely or execute through remote instruction
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays if needed to cover customer service needs
  • Ability to travel to other site locations within US as needed by the business

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs of all equipment within the facility
  • Learn and understand to operate all equipment in the plant including but not limited to WashSmart, autoclave, boiler, air compressor, water treatment equipment, transporters, bin lifter/tippers, compactors, mining operation, and others as determined by the plant operation now as well as in the future
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance inspections on all equipment as specified in the SOP’s or owner’s manual
  • Keep written or digital copies documenting completion of PM and other maintenance work
  • Troubleshoot entire plumbing, fabrication, mechanical and electrical systems of the Washsmart, Boiler, Autoclave and other plant equipment
  • Assemble, align, and install equipment and machine upgrades as necessary while adhering to direction, timeline and budget
  • Speak knowledgably and professionally with the company’s engineers, vendors and IT to determine and repair faults
  • Perform all local and provincial compliance related tasks associated with plant equipment such as (but not limited to) PH testing, hardness testing, detergent concentration, water temperatures, volume and the like
  • Interface with cross functional work teams such as plant operations, global operations, and suppliers
  • Maintain Washsmart inventory at each Daniels location in conjunction with individual plant management to ensure plants are stocked effectively
  • Suggest and implement process improvements
  • Sourcing parts and working with vendors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of boilers preferable
  • Knowledge/experience with PLCs preferable
