Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, operations analysis, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to create clear, impactful presentations.
- Ability to present complex data in a digestible and compelling format.
- Understanding P&L statements, cost structures, and financial metrics related to business operations. (Including gross margin/markup analysis.)
- Advanced Excel skills: experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging with customers or senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data to develop insights that drive business decisions.
- Support the creation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) decks, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively for customer meetings.
- Participate in client-facing discussions, presenting data-driven insights compellingly.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to Business Unit Leaders to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Understand spending trends, P&Ls, and operational performance metrics to connect financial insights with business operations. Support gross margin analysis (leakage/opportunity levers).
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities to provide internal and external stakeholders more value.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA preferred.
