Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related, highly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership experience and excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; able to lead up, down and across multiple departments
- Proven work experience successfully leading projects and programs to be on-time and within budget
- Able to read and navigate Electrical Plan pages
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience and working knowledge of low voltage control systems preferred (i.e., lighting, security, fire, PLCs)
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the applications team, including creating lighting control submittals and release/installation documents.
- Assign projects (submittals and releases) and evenly distribute the workload among team members, while meeting or exceeding our SLA (Service Level Agreement).
- Work closely with the Quotations Team Lead to ensure product application and layouts are consistent, professional, and meet company quality standards.
- Collaborate with sales representatives, engineers, and contractors to gather information to develop accurate submittals, integrate changes and adjust cost estimates, and resolve issues to prepare projects for release to production.
- Act as a liaison between inside sales and production to resolve issues in submittal and installation documents and prevent them in future documentation.
- Collaborate with the Customer Satisfaction Manager, Director of Sales, Sales Engineer, Operations/Production Department, and Engineering Department to maintain tools and procedures to efficiently complete project documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bluebeam experience and working knowledge of low voltage control systems preferred (i.e., lighting, security, fire, PLCs)
