Requirements
- You hold a university degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years work experience in the aerospace industry, with a strong customer service and project management focus
- You are considered someone who is dynamic with solid communication skills (English & French) and are comfortable working in a challenging team environment with little direct supervision
- You have demonstrated capability of building and leading high performance teams in a fast-paced environment, with constantly changing priorities
- You are curious and continuously strive to understand how processes and systems work
- You demonstrate patience and a willingness to help develop others to a given standard
- You have a good working knowledge of continuous improvement process methodology and tools, along with working knowledge of business policies, procedures, and practices
- You have strong planning and organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize workload around multiple assignments and demands
- You have good computer skills to operate word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, databases and project management software
Responsibilities
- Lead the Airbus Canada Transformation process for our teams as we evolve our structure and processes to align with Airbus SAS
- Coordinate and lead strategic initiatives with other groups within Customer Support and Product Development at all levels
- Manage departmental and cross functional system and process projects
- Create and maintain standard governance packages for the leadership team
- Analyze business metrics and perform root cause analysis to develop corrective action plans
- Lead process alignment and specific improvement projects within the ISE/ME/Tech Pubs teams and cross-functionally
- Lead and Coordinate annual budget process for A220 Maintenance & Engineering and lead regular governance (monthly caption)
- Lead and coordinate Risk Management for A220 Maintenance & Engineering
- Coordinate all in-service engineering activity for the customer aircraft downtime (heavy check) reduction initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- You hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (an asset)
