Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related subject area or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing large scale Web applications with high availability and reliability, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with DevOps cloud deployment tools such as Docker, K8S, Helm, and templating
- Experience with Splunk and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience containerizing legacy code
- Experience improving charting, tooling, monitoring, and alerting
- Ability to understand AWS charts
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, understand, and solve legacy software problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to learn new technology quickly
- Ability to work multi-functionally with other teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Prometheus
- Knowledge of Twelve-Factor methodology
- Experience writing automated tests
- Some knowledge or experience with Java
- Understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and web-based technologies

- Experience with common open-source application/web servers like Tomcat, NodeJS, Nginx, Apache
- Experience with a version control system (Git preferred, SVN, Perforce, or CVS experience acceptable)
