Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of anti-corruption and bribery regulations and compliance processes
- Proven experience in third-party due diligence and compliance monitoring
- Strong data analytics capabilities and experience in risk-based analysis of third-party relationships
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the anti-corruption and bribery program, focused on third parties and M&A
- Maintain screening software to ensure effective monitoring and compliance
- Review and assess due diligence reports, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies
- Develop and lead training sessions for employees on anti-corruption and bribery policies and procedures
- Maintain controls to prevent and detect corruption and bribery
- Perform monitoring activities to identify emerging risks, monitor effectiveness of the third party due diligence process and ensure compliance with anti-corruption and bribery policies
- Manage the program budget to ensure efficient use of resources
- Manage relationships with vendors that support the anti-corruption program
- Validate the effectiveness of the anti-corruption and bribery program through analytics, benchmarking, and risk assessments
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure the program is detecting and mitigating risks effectively
- Through cross-functional collaboration, enhance data flow and digital connections to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Program
- Support cross-functional collaboration projects to integrate compliance processes across different departments
- Act as the compliance integration lead for mergers and acquisition projects
- Ensure that compliance controls are integrated seamlessly into newly acquired entities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in M&A due diligence and integration
- Proficiency with compliance and screening technologies
- Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), or equivalent
- Experience in developing or enhancing financial and operational controls
