Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Corporate PR, previous agency experience working with tech clients preferred.
  • A history of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts.
  • Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs.
  • Excellent writing skills, solid presentation skills, experience developing and delivering client presentations, including new business.
  • Must have a strong background in corporate communications and solid corporate media relations contacts.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of reputation management and a working knowledge of traditional and non-traditional media. A current track record of success in building relationships with national business media and driving results for clients.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI to more efficiently deliver high-quality client work.
  • Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing junior talent.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic executive visibility and thought leadership programs to elevate clients’ reputation and brands with key stakeholders.
  • Develop media relations strategy and conduct outreach for programs/projects.
  • Identify new growth opportunities based on insights into the company, client, industry and economy.
  • Lead the client service function for program planning, problem solving and strategic counsel.
  • Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting and account profitability.
  • Provide strategic counsel and guidance to clients, as well as to colleagues in the Zeno network, to ensure success.
  • Secure, maintain and grow the business.
  • Understand key client industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and potential competition, and general issues facing the industry.
  • Understand key competitors and their business strategies.
  • Work across geographies and help shape direction and focus of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous agency experience working with tech clients preferred.
