Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle and possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge in engineering design, project management and maintenance of utility systems
- Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives such as training programs and documentation development
- Plan and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate effectively with peers, external contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project success
- Prepare project construction documents including plan and profile drawings; design drawings; engineering, material and construction specifications; project schedules and bills of material; and compliance documents
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in structural design, foundation design and/or surveying is preferred
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD line design software is strongly preferred
- Competence with Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor, and/or Bentley MicroStation is desired
- Knowledge of NESC (National Electrical Safety Code) Code and current industry standards is preferred
