Requirements
- A people’s person that builds strong relationships, communicates efficiently, seeks and offers constructive feedback for self-improvement and to elevate others
- Demonstrates a solid level of technical knowledge (can be previously acquired both through formal training, and on-the-job experiences)
- Demonstrates proficiency with computer programs and Tesla-internal applications (advanced Excel spreadsheets, supply-chain related databases, ticketing systems)
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, including ability to express well-reasoned, independent thought. Natural ability to speak and write effectively at all organizational levels
- Flexible to travel up to 5 days per week within own region, and up to twice a month to locations outside of the Region (other regions, territorial central location, HQs)
- Ideally 5 years of work experience in the automotive, supply chain, or service sectors (any other related and relevant experiences will be considered towards this requirement)
- Ideally 2 years of work experience in Supply Chain (or external experience as Parts Shop Manager or Supply Chain Manager; preferably with people management)
Responsibilities
- Regional leader for a team of 10-30 Parts Advisors at 5-10 sites/locations in their region, managing all supply chain activities
- Driving the implementation of new initiatives and ensuring the team constantly works towards achieving the standards agreed with management and business partners
- Role of system training provider and information multiplicator in their own region
- Evaluating PA job performance and general behavior, and coaching Parts Advisors towards personal and professional development, identifying talent for promotions
- Oversee the fulfillment of parts within the region from distribution centers, suppliers, and other incoming shipments
- Monitor trends related to workshop load and fulfillment performance within the region
- Be a liaison to IT/Material/Demand/Channel Planning for troubleshooting issues and in providing field feedback, including for systems and workflow improvements
Preferred Qualifications
