Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience with waiver) and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Secret Clearance required
  • IAT Level 2 Minimum (Sec+) certification
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Expertise in Apple iOS, OSX, and Air Force publications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Self-starter with an innovative problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communicator—comfortable briefing senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the focal point for network enhancement and certification
  • Ensure seamless operation and strategic upgrades of the BOCKSCAR network
  • Lead mobile device management services, integrating applications, researching new technology, and setting up mission-critical devices
  • Be the key decision-maker responsible for approvals and upgrades to the BOCKSCAR network and Electronic Flight Bag program
  • Provide technical recommendations that directly support warfighters
  • Maintain and control the BOCKSCAR network and all associated equipment
  • Manage mobile electronic devices for more than 3,200 Air Force personnel
  • Plan upgrades for the BOCKSCAR network and Electronic Flight Bag program
  • Collaborate with key Air Force teams including 55 OG STAN/EVAL, 55 WG Innovations Team, and 55 CG
  • Keep leadership, aircrews, and contractors informed of critical system updates
  • Develop technical documents, network maps, and reports that drive mission success
  • Conduct network and mobile device testing, issue resolution, and recovery
  • Deliver essential briefings and updates to senior military stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • AGILE and DEVOPS experience
  • Deep understanding of networking architecture
  • Project Management expertise
  • Information Assurance proficiency (IATT/ATO)
  • Mobile Device Management experience
  • Apple iOS Profile Creation skills
  • Air Force Publication Operations knowledge
