Requirements
- Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, and similar) in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Executive presence and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively. Strong ability to effectively communicate with ES&F partners and crew members at all levels.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Detail oriented and proven self-starter with ability to work independently and within teams.
- Excellent judgment and ability to analyze issues quickly and independently to take appropriate action.
- Understanding of cyber security and technical concepts including cloud literacy strongly preferred.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Agile, and other process improvement methodologies preferred.
- Minimum seven years general experience with progressively responsible work experience including successfully managing project(s) from beginning to end strongly preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Responsibilities
- Translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, uncover trends, and drive continuous improvement across ES&F functions.
- Leverages data storytelling to influence decision-making, highlight opportunities, and ensure key insights resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Designs, builds, and maintains interactive dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights across ES&F.
- Partners closely with ES&F teams to define meaningful metrics, set baselines, and establish consistent reporting cadences aligned with OKRs and strategic priorities.
- Acts as a thought partner by proactively helping stakeholders interpret data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Drives a cohesive global reporting strategy across ES&F by aligning metrics, streamlining reporting formats, and reducing redundancy.
- Innovates continuously by identifying opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, reduce user burden, and improve the quality and timeliness of insights.
- Serves as a connector across departments, facilitating collaboration and promoting a unified approach to data storytelling and business intelligence.
- Stays current on data analytics tools and trends, actively engaging with the analytics community at Vanguard, bringing new ideas and best practices to elevate our analytics capabilities and support strategic decision making.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
