Requirements
- GM Certified
- Previous (2+ years) of automotive technician experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Perform quality repairs on assigned repair orders. Fix the vehicle right the first time and make a quality check after each repair
- Conduct road tests to determine the work required
- Advise the Service Manager of needed repairs, including parts needs, and advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order
- Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and other pertinent information needed to describe repair activities
- Ensure current knowledge of the latest technical data and service procedures
- Retain essential tools necessary to complete assigned repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and locking up all tools daily
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all customer interactions, co-workers, and vendors
